re:view // A Reflection of 2016

As 2016 winds down, I want to thank the many who have helped to make this past year a busy and productive one for Romanoff Elements. We completed projects that involved numerous people, our clients, partners, artists and the many that support each part of the process. It starts with our clients, our focus is on filling our clients’ spaces with artworks they love, that suit them, their homes and offices. While doing that, we work with many along the way that help to make this happen. Here are just a few of the projects we completed…

The layered abstract landscape painting above, Distance, by Anne Raymond adds a natural element to the stunning dining room.  In the same room, the modern sculptural artwork adds  texture and dimension

The year began in South Beach, this serene abstract seascape brings the apartments’ gorgeous Miami views into the guest room

For this elegant room, our clients were looking to complete the space with the energy of a colorful artwork that they would see and enjoy all the time throughout their beautiful home.

I completed a number of projects with our retail partner, Nest Inspired Home in Rye. Nest has been home to our artworks for almost 5 years. We rotate the art exhibited in the store, and work with the design staff and their customers to select art for their homes.  We installed several pieces for this client suitable to their young family. The bold abstract completed the modern living room

Before the Split (Double Bubble) was “just right” for a family with twins

Some projects call for a commissioned artwork. A client may like something that requires a custom size or interpretation. This large scale painting was based on a smaller painting they saw by the artist, and each ring represents our clients' family of 5

We encourage clients to find art they love, that will stay with and become part of their lives.  We were thrilled to see how these two artworks moved with our clients to their new home, a testament to “buy what you love”

We were quite busy in the last month getting homes ready for the holidays. In this Bergen County, NJ home we installed several pieces before their annual parties.  This pair of abstract photos completed their new comfortable library

A recent renovation created an expansive wall over their 100” table, they wanted something large, (82”W) dramatic and colorful in their kitchen area. This image (unfortunately, not a very good photo) captures the colors of a gorgeous NYC sunset, the Manhattan skyline and the whimsy of a bubble in mid-air

Another installation, just in time for the holidays, was this fun, graphic, also large-scale photo, just the right piece to complete the dining room for our clients and their young family

Our client is from Washington DC so it was fitting to fill the guest room with this "dreamy" abstract of DC's native cherry blossoms

We "decked the hallway" with two large-scale framed Modern Botanicals

The final installation is Serenity, in a smaller size, a perfect ending to the year, a peaceful image above the mantel in the Master Bedroom

These are just a few of the installations and projects that contributed to making this a wonderful year for myself and Romanoff Elements. We appreciate and thank our clients, artists, retail partners, graphic designers, the many printers, delivery services and installers that were part of the process to make these projects all happen. We love bringing together the creative work of artists with the visions our clients have for their homes. As 2016 ends, we reflect and appreciate the past year and are looking forward to more in 2017.

Sending warm holiday wishes and hope for a peaceful, healthy year for all.
