Living with Art // Shades of Gold
I love summer…and the colors and lightness of the season. In artworks, the blues of summer and association with clear sunny skies and crisp waters inspires artwork that appeals to many. As summer ends (too quickly, as always) the light starts to change, days get shorter, the nights are getting cooler and suddenly it feels good to think about fall, the changes in colors, weather and a return to a different routine. Artworks reflect this as well, artists capture the golden rays of sun and warmer deeper golds and oranges of the night sky, especially beautiful when they are mixed with blues.

Living with Art // The Beauty of May Flowers
Spring has slowly arrived! The season brings color, green grass and trees, and finally, the flowers are starting to bloom. There was lots of promise of May flowers during April’s cool rainy days. I’m happily looking out on a sunny day and the sparkle of sunlight throughout the grass, trees and early buds. Flowers have been a constant source of inspiration to artists over time. Here’s a look at some of the beautiful artworks from re: artists, as well as a few more.
re:new // New season, New site, New artworks
Romanoff Elements has been busy in the past few years. In that time we have provided artworks for many clients, we have continued to expand the artists we work with, and we seriously outgrew our website. I am thrilled that the new re: site has launched, and we can finally stop saying that it’s a “work in progress”.
Living with Art // The Many Colors of White
It's March, it’s still winter but the light has changed, and that feels good, the mornings are brighter, and the days are longer. The color white is about light, there is no absolute white, there are the many shades that reflect what is around it. This time of year, the reference to “winter white” is to a warm color, whether in fashion, or home or art, the yellow undertones feel cozy and at the same time fresh, just like the March light. Cool whites have a touch of blue, and there are many shades in between. The beauty of white is that it’s uplifting, it’s literally lighter than the heavy tones we are accustomed to all winter. The beauty of having white in artworks around you, is that it brings that lightness home...
It's (Drippy) Heart Season // Share the Love
Artist Kerri Rosenthal is all about happy - and about sharing the exuberance she feels about color through her art. I’m happy to be working with Kerri this Valentine’s Day season to share the love that her Drippy Heart paintings are all about. Kerri has been painting hearts for several years, she felt it was time to make them more accessible and available, and has introduced a collection of three of her Drippy's as limited edition prints...
RE:view // A Reflection of 2015 Installations
As the year ends, we are reflecting on the busy year we had at Romanoff Elements. A highlight that comes along with working on different projects are the people we have met along the way, and the friends we have made. We’re grateful for both our clients and the many artists we work with. As we start the holiday season, we want to wish you well and have you join us to recap some of our projects and installations from the past year. Our work is about finding the right artworks for our clients, bringing them together with the talent and creativity of RE artists to complete the beautiful spaces in their homes and offices.
